HOW IT WORKS

HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT

Up Front Pricing

We value simplicity. Most junk removal companies provide on-site estimates using a price sheet with different materials and rates by weight or volume. We only charge flat fees and we provide the price based on the job type before we come on site. Our services are offered in two hour time slots to meet our goals of being simple and convenient with transparent pricing.

Full Service

We are full service and handle the work for you. We'll break down boxes, bag trash, disassemble furniture, and cut apart items and materials so you don't have to. No preparation is needed. You can even add stuff to the load at pickup if it fits in the truck and we can do it within your time slot and job type.

SCHEDULING

We have two standardized job types we typically perform - Standard Junk Removal, and Contractor Waste Removal. If the pickup includes any construction materials or debris, it is a Contractor Waste Removal pickup. This is because we have to dispose of those items differently.

For both job types we will remove up to one truck load (~67.5 cubic feet / ~2.5 cubic yards) of waste, up to a 2 hour total job time including travel, load up, transport, and disposal.

​1) Schedule online or call us at (214) 984-3731 and let us know what we can remove for you or how we can help.

2) Our dispatcher will ask you some questions to determine the job type and book your appointment. We will text you when we're on the way and arrive at or within the two hour window following your appointment time.

3) We'll remove the requested items and materials, breaking them down as necessary, and accept payment after load up is complete.

Contractor Waste Removal service includes materials, or debris from remodel or construction. For example:

  • Drywall

  • Flooring

  • Toilets

  • Countertops

  • Wood

  • Brick and concrete, and more!

Standard Junk Removal service includes items commonly found around a home or an office. For example:

  • Furniture

QUESTIONS

What types of jobs can you do?

We remove junk, trash, clutter, and unwanted items from commercial and residential sites, offices, houses, apartments, etc. We remove construction debris (contractor and remodel waste) from residential sites (non-commercial). We can and do recycle but we are not a recycling service at this time.

How much does a removal cost?

The Standard Junk Removal service is $150 plus tax. The Contractor Waste Removal service is $225 plus tax. There is an additional roofing shingle removal fee of $150 for loads containing roofing shingles.

Is there a cost to come on site?

There is no cost if we aren't able to complete a pick up.

What is the area you service?

Our service area currently includes: Plano, Richardson, Allen, Fairview, McKinney, Melissa, Lewisville, Carrollton, Addison, The Colony, and Frisco

What are your hours?

Our normal hours for standard junk removal and remodel waste removal services are Monday through Saturday, 7am - 7pm.

Can you do commercial jobs or residential only?

We remove junk, trash, and unwanted items from commercial and residential sites, offices, houses, apartments, etc. We remove construction debris (contractor / remodel waste) from residential sites only (non-commercial) at this time.

What items can you take?

For a full list please visit our website at https://www.stacyscrap.com/do-you-take For example, our standard junk removal service includes things like mattresses, appliances, food waste, packaging and cardboard, furniture, grills (no propane tanks), lawn furniture, lawn mowers (with gasoline and oil removed), bicycles, electronics / TVs / Computers (only a few allowed per pick up, not bulk). Our remodel / contractor waste removal service includes items like sheetrock, floor and wall tile, carpet and carpet pads, toilets, sinks, countertops, cabinetry, doors, windows, trim, molding, gutters, wood, brick, and concrete.

What items are you unable to take?

We're currently unable to take the following items: Landscaping debris, brush, yard waste, hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, oil, fuel, asbestos, light bulbs, batteries, bulk electronics, ammunition, vehicles, propane tanks, tires).

Are there any additional costs or fees?

How much junk can you take at one time?

For standard junk removal and remodel / contractor waste disposal, we'll take as much as we can fit in a pickup truck per appointment, which is about 67.5 cubic feet (2.5 cubic yards).

What if I want to add something at pickup?

No problem, if it fits in the truck, your time slot, and it's an item we're able to take, we'll take it!

How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

You can reschedule or cancel service using the links or buttons in your appointment confirmation or reminder email(s). There is no cost if we aren't able to complete a pick up.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as Google Pay and Apple Pay at this time. We are currently unable to take cash payments. Terms may differ for custom and/or commercial jobs.

When do you charge for the work?

We accept payment after load up is completed on-site. Terms may differ for custom and/or commercial jobs.

Should I tip junk haulers?

You certainly can and tipping for junk removal is always appreciated, but it is not expected.

What if everything doesn't fit in the truck or the time slot?

Our pricing is structured to provide the best value for our customers and we do our best to break the load down as much as possible, but if everything must go and it simply won't fit, we would love to book an additional appointment with you.

What's included in a removal service?

Our services are offered in two hour time slots where we handle all the work for you. We break down boxes, bag trash, disassemble furniture, and cut apart items as needed to carry out and remove up to one truck load of junk and debris. Appointments include travel, labor, transport, and disposal.

What is a custom job?

Custom jobs are for services that require multiple two hour time slots and may also include services we perform but don't publicly advertise yet.
